Tallahassee’s Proposed Tiny House Community –
The Tiny House Project is slated to be built on 30 acres adjacent the Wolf Creek Subdivision just west of Capital Circle Northwest and Highway 20. The small home’s within the community will be part of a green, sustainable, housing community that will address the city’s need for affordable housing. The first phase of the project will be completed early 2017 and will create two dozen homes with 130 units that range in size from 250 to 400 square feet.
This weekend Jefferson County celebrated a landmark event; the 66th Annual Watermelon Festival. This year, a record breaking crowd gathered to celebrate the much-anticipated event in gorgeous downtown Monticello.
