You may have heard the good news, City of Tallahassee and Leon County have decided to waive growth management and building permit fees to make it easier for residents to make storm-related repairs. For thousands, in Tallahassee and Leon County, this is great news! Additionally, fees will also be waived retroactively for completed storm-related repairs and projects. The permit fees, for removing storming damaged trees, will also be waived.
Eligibility requirements of the waiver, state that the person performing the work must be a licensed contractor or the homeowner.
