Pine Dove Farm, Tallahassee’s first “agrihood, ” is now home to several show-ready model homes. The 203-acre community will be the first agricultural subdivision of its kind in Tallahassee. Located off Apalachee Parkway and Williams Road, the neighborhood in eastern Leon County will include approximately 130 homes on half-acre lots starting at $289,000. The homes, which come in six models,  will range from 1,800 to 2,300 square feet.

Over the course of the next three years, the fledgeling community will be built in three phases. Unlike many other communities, Pine Dove Farm will be centered around the garden.

A large communal garden, located near the entrance, will offer residents a program that allows them to pay for or volunteer to receive fresh produce from the plot.

Other features of Pine Dove include two lakes for canoeing and fishing and a three-mile trail for walking.  Once all three phases are complete, the community will also feature a gym, a community center, and a lake house.
