Fall Gardening Workshop!

A post shared by Ann Huskey (@annhuskey) on

Happy first week of November! This week at Evening Rose, we kicked off the Fall Growing Season with a Fall Gardening Workshop.

Molly Jameson of the County’s Agricultural Extension Office spoke on topics such as composting, seeds, transplanting, and all other things gardening. At the end of the workshop, each participant was able to take home some seeds in seedling pots with a mix.

Many residents at Evening Rose enjoy gardening. The homes at Evening Rose have smaller yards that are just the right amount of space for lovely gardens. Smaller yards with larger gardens are easier to maintain. And, although they may not have a lot of lawn, residents enjoy stunning homes and an awesome quality of life.

Veggie Gardening is a perfect way to improve the quality of your life and your food. Veggies fresh from the garden always taste better and they come directly from your own yard. This means, that you know exactly where they came from and what was used to grow them! This is great news for those of us who like to have control of exactly what goes into our kitchen and our bodies!
