2016 was an interesting year for Tallahassee residential real estate. Inventory was down and yet home sales were up. There were in total 8.7% more sales in Tallahassee than the previous year. The lack of homes on the market in combination with the increased demand for homes caused median Tallahassee home values to rise an estimated 3.7%.

That is an additional 255 homes sold in 2016. or an increase of 8.7%
Condos and townhomes sold in 2016 – 830
Condos and townhomes sold in 2015 – 773
That is an additional 57 homes in 2016 or 7.37%
Total residential (All types) sold in 2016 – 4,161
Total residential (All types sold in 2015 – 3,828
That is an additional 333 homes or 8.7%
